Showcasing the airframe markings of EE139 – the “Phantom of the Ruhr.” Known for flying over 100 operational sorties as part of No. 550 Squadron at RAF Waltham and later at RAF North Killingholme.
Designed right here in Lincolnshire, this Lancaster Bomber model is laser-cut from 2.5mm aluminium and is provided with A2 stainless steel fixings. The propellers are fitted with Olite brass bearings which allow them to rotate in the wind, and the plane can be positioned as wanted thanks to the swivel and pivot mounting built into the wall bracket.
This is a bolt-together-kit, and it will take approx 60 minutes to assemble. No fancy tooling required, just allen keys, spanners and sockets. The assembly guide can be found here.
Please note: Due to the manufacturing process, it's normal to see some minor scratches or handling marks. If needed, a quick polish with some Scotch-Brite will bring back that clean, brushed aluminium look.
